The Southern Africa Trust has recently announced the appointment of Bhekinkosi Moyo as the new executive director of the Trust with effect from 1 June 2014. Bheki is currently the deputy executive director of the Trust. He was its acting executive director for a few months last year. Bheki was previously the director of programmes at TrustAfrica which is based in Dakar, and was also the acting executive director of TrustAfrica for a few months. He holds a PhD in political science and has been a leading actor in the fields of African governance, development, civil society, and philanthropy for several years. He is widely published in these fields.
