Sabanci Foundation launched the ‘Turkey’s Changemakers’ (Fark Yaratanlar) project to share inspiring stories of individuals who make a difference in social and economic development.
The weekly television programme airs on CNN Turk showcases the accomplishments of a new ‘Changemaker’ for 32 episodes (through June 2010). Nominations are accepted through the program’s own website under the following categories:
Economic Development, Health, Environment, Education/Learning, Civic Participation and Social Justice.
So far, over 200 nominations have been received.
