The Global Fund for Community Foundations is hosting a webinar on 25 April, called Photo Speak: Enabling Young People’s Voices.
Want to know more about how photography can be used to profile young people’s views and get them involved in their communities?
Join us for our second webinar, taking place on Wednesday, 25th April, 2012, at 4:00 pm Johannesburg/ Central African time (3:00pm London time, 10AM EDT). This webinar will focus on a programme called Photo Speak, which uses photography as the medium to bring forward the voices of young people around their rights and responsibilities.
Our presenter will be Beulah Fredericks from the Community Development Foundation Western Cape, based in Cape Town, South Africa, and our discussant will be Sarah Gonzalez from the Golden Gate Community Centre (GGCC), based in Phoenix, Arizona in the United States. (The Photo Speak programme is an adaptation of the GGCC “Photo Voice” programme)
The webinar is open to any community foundation practitioner interested in finding out more about how Photo Speak and Photo Voice work, and will be particularly geared towards practitioners from emerging community foundations in the Global South and Central and Eastern Europe.
We hope that you will be able to join us.
Best wishes.
