Ten years ago, GrantCraft was launched by the Ford Foundation under the leadership of Jan Jaffe. Starting out with a small collection of case studies and examples that served as orientation materials for the foundation’s program officers, in the past decade GrantCraft has developed into a vast store of practical wisdom and — thanks to you — a dynamic community of practitioners who are actively engaged in strengthening the “craft” of grantmaking.
Today, a new phase in the evolution of GrantCraft begins. We’re pleased to announce that GrantCraft is moving from the Ford Foundation to the Foundation Center in New York and European Foundation Centre in Brussels. With this transition, you’ll continue to receive the high standard of resources and learning opportunities you’ve come to expect from GrantCraft. In addition, you can look forward to even more offerings, as well as a greater emphasis on making our GrantCraft community a global one.
